We are excited to invite you to a special Open House event that celebrates the achievements of the School of Global Environmental Sustainability (SoGES)and the CSU Climate Initiative (CCI), while also looking ahead to the promising future we are building together. This is a unique opportunity to engage in thoughtful discussions, share ideas, and learn more about the exciting directions in which SoGES and CCI are headed.

There will be a brief presentation about our future plans beginning at 4:15pm with an opportunity to ask questions and provide feedback immediately following.

We’ll also be introducing our exciting new GCRT’s and provide updates on upcoming funding opportunities you won’t want to miss.

In addition, we will take this moment to congratulate and bid farewell to Peter Backlund, whose dedication and leadership have been instrumental in the shaping of SoGES for over a decade. His retirement marks the end of an era, but his legacy will continue to inspire the work we do. Join us as we wish him well on his next chapter!
