Research Summary: My research explores how early-career engineers navigate ethical challenges as they transition from school to the workplace and how these experiences shape their professional growth. Engineers make decisions that impact people’s lives, so understanding how they navigate dilemmas like balancing safety, cost, and sustainability is important. By studying their experiences, I aim to improve engineering education, ensuring future engineers are better prepared to make ethical and equitable decisions. My work promotes a more responsible engineering profession, where ethical considerations are as important as technical skills, ultimately leading to safer, more inclusive, and sustainable solutions for society.
