Research Summary: I study how environmental factors shape local economies and consumer behavior. My research focuses on two key areas: electric vehicle (EV) adoption and the economic impacts of wildfires. In one project, I analyze how access to charging infrastructure influences EV ownership in Washington state. In another, I examine how wildfires affect tourism and local spending in Colorado. By understanding these dynamics, I aim to inform policies that support sustainable transportation and community resilience against wildfire risk. My work combines data analysis with realworld policy applications to help communities navigate the challenges of climate change and environmental disruptions.
