Research Summary: My master’s research focuses on promoting human-carnivore coexistence, or helping wildlife and people share landscapes sustainably. I will design and complete two projects that will build my skills in both wildlife ecology and social science disciplines. One project will examine community attitudes, motivations, and willingness to live alongside carnivores in Colorado. My second project will investigate how carnivore behavior and resource use can shape conflict with humans. Research communities are active partners in this work to ensure my results will support locally relevant, positive outcomes for wildlife and people.
