Eye on Africa | Richard & Catherine Frazier
February 17 @ 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm

Richard and Catherine Frazier were education volunteers in a small town (maybe 100 houses) at the end of a very rough road in Njala Komboya, Southern Province. From 2005-2013, they made annual return visits offering professional learning workshops under the auspices of several groups – all involving RPCVs. Sierra Leone experienced a brutal war 1991-2002 when much infrastructure was destroyed and many endured extensive and heartbreaking suffering. Surprising to some, connections between Sierra Leone and various aspects of the United States have significantly impacted both local and global history, culture, politics. Like many tropical countries, Sierra Leone hosts an unbelievable rich natural heritage.
