Feeding the World in a Changing Climate

This project will develop a novel AUCC course entitled Feeding the World in a Changing Climate. The course will span a multitude of social and environmental justice issues related to climate change and global food security, while fulfilling the Biological and Physical Sciences AUCC category. Although CSU offers a variety of classes that cover climate change on some level, none explicitly cover global food security in its entirety, which is one of the most critical challenges facing humanity. As an AUCC course, it will be available to students of all majors on campus. All developed course materials will be shared to broaden the resources available on this constantly evolving topic.
