Climate change is widely regarded as the greatest health challenge of the 21st century, making it essential for biomedical professionals to understand both the associated risks and potential solutions. To address this educational need at CSU, the College of Veterinary Medicine and Biomedical Sciences (CVMBS) will develop and house a climate and health undergraduate certificate. This program will provide students with a solid foundation in the relationship between climate change and health, equipping them with the knowledge and skills to bring this topic into their careers in the public, private and academic health and biomedical sectors.
