Graphic Greenprints: Sustainability Stories in Marginalized Worlds

Developing a new interdisciplinary undergraduate course on comics and graphic novels about sustainability and climate change, focusing particularly on the perspectives and experiences of communities of color and Indigenous peoples. The course, Graphic Greenprints: Sustainability Stories in Marginalized Worlds, will teach students to engage creatively and intellectually with experiences of climate change in marginalized communities through comics and graphic novels. Students will explore issues of social justice and sustainability and create their own graphic narratives for fostering real change in the world.
