Research Summary: I use maps to study how human activities, such as development, recreation, and resource extraction, impact our natural resources. Specifically, I am interested in impacts to water because it is a very important resource and is so limited in the western US. My research matters because humans are using water at alarming rates and climate change projections suggest that the western US will become drier.
