Micha is the Communications Specialist for the School of Global Environmental Sustainability at Colorado State University. She leads the development and implementation of SoGES communication activities including multimedia content creation, social media management, and science storytelling. Micha serves as a resource to guide stakeholders within the School on effective and creative communication options.

Micha graduated with a B.A. in Journalism and Media Communication as well as a minor in Global Environmental Sustainability from CSU. She is passionate about creating communication products that make all dimensions of sustainability science interesting and accessible to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Micha has a background in natural resource communication, having completed internships and contract work with the USDA Forest Service at the Rocky Mountain Research Station and State and Private Forestry of the Northeastern Area. Prior to coming on board at SoGES, Micha served as the Marketing and Communications Specialist at the Chamber of Commerce and Tourism Bureau in River Falls, WI.
