Lauren Gifford, PhD is a human/environment geographer exploring intersections of climate change policy, conservation, markets and justice. She is Assistant Professor of Carbon Management in the Department of Ecosystem Science and Sustainability, Director of the Soil Carbon Solutions Center, and a Faculty Fellow with SoGES where she helps lead the Climate Initiative, curriculum development, fundraising, and outreach.
