Postdoctoral Fellow, Department of Environmental and Radiological Health Sciences
Research Summary: As an environmental health and justice researcher, I use spatial analytics to examine how environmental conditions affect public health, with a focus on chemical and non-chemical exposures that disproportionately affect marginalized communities. One of my long-term goals is to use geospatial modeling to improve our understanding of the cumulative effects of environmental exposures on health across the lifespan. My second long-term goal is to deepen our understanding of the structural factors that contribute to adverse health outcomes resulting from these environmental exposures. My work aims to advance sustainability by informing equitable environmental policies and supporting more resilient communities.
