Research Summary: I study how glaciers, rock glaciers, and snowfields in the Teton Range are changing as the climate warms, and what those changes mean for water resources, ecosystems, and mountain hazards. I use remote sensing tools such as LiDAR, ground-penetrating radar, and satellite data to track how quickly these frozen landscapes are melting or shifting over time. My research helps identify which cryospheric features are disappearing rapidly, which may persist longer, and how these changes affect downstream communities, ecosystems, and wildlife that depend on cold mountain water.
