Ph.D. Candidate, Department of Forest & Rangeland Stewardship

Research Summary: As a 4th-year doctoral candidate at Colorado State University, I am passionate about dryland restoration and ecology. My research focuses on finding ways to increase the resilience of native vegetative seedlings in degraded dryland systems, which will help these ecosystems adapt to the changing climate. By collaborating with local stakeholders, I am actively involved in applied research on invasive grass management and dryland restoration. I am currently working on multiple collaborative applied research projects partnering with rangeland managers, local agencies (e.g., USDA-ARS, City of Longmont), and producers to restore and rehabilitate degraded retired agricultural systems across Colorado.
