There is No Planet B

gracegallagherdance presents There is No Planet B — an evening-length dance performance that fuses art with environmental activism. Join the CSU family on 11/21 and 11/22 for a compelling event that will also include guest performances by climate-conscious movement companies, climate-centered exhibits, photography, and an optional panel discussion exploring how art can inspire change—bridging climate literacy, social impact, and individual expression.
When: November 21st and 22nd at 7pm
Background:
Originally developed in CSU’s Dance Repertory and Ensemble/Engagement courses, There Is No Planet B began as a classroom initiative. Through institutional support, student leadership, and artistic collaboration, it has grown into a fully produced, public-facing performance, supported by The Sharon Prize Colorado.
Rooted in education and driven by urgency, the work is designed not just to be seen—but to spark conversation, reflection, and action around climate justice. It was deeply informed by the choreographer’s involvement in CSU’s Climate Across the Curriculum initiative, which encourages students to view creative practice as a form of environmental inquiry and civic engagement.
