SoGES Community Coffee Hour

We’re hosting SoGES Community Coffee Hours/Lunches to create space for conversation and networking among members of our SoGES community (anyone new or SoGES-curious is welcome too). We’ll start with some lightly facilitated discussion on a timely topic related to sustainability to spark discussion, followed by time to socialize, catch up, and meet others. Drop in or out any time during the hour.
For our April event: Can pollinators serve as “gateway bugs” for tackling broader conservation issues like habitat restoration and climate adaptation? Coloradoans approve of pollinators more than they approve of the habitats pollinators need – how do we correct that misalignment (and are pollinators themselves the best vehicle? Or are other approaches like water conservation more effective?)? Conversation facilitated by John Mola, Department of Forest and Rangeland Stewardship.
