Group lab activity for introductory biology labs (originally created for Life103) that explores the use of fungi in removing contaminants from water and soil. Students conduct hands-on experiments testing water filtered by oyster mushrooms and using mushrooms as a sustainable alternative to wood pulp for paper making.
