Research Summary: I study the behavior of particulate matter, which are all the microscopic solid and liquid particles suspended in our air, in both indoor and outdoor environments. These particles have broad impacts on human health and the heating and cooling of our atmosphere. I investigate what happens to these particles after they have been created and identify how they are transported through and removed from an environment. Understanding these processes will help us develop targeted solutions that can reduce the effects of particulate matter on our environment.
