Managing the Planet: Sustainability in Action at CSU — through the lens of engagement and operations

Higher education plays an important role in guiding society towards a sustainable future through research, education, operations, community, and governance. Some of the key elements in reducing the environmental impact of university operations include gathering and acting on ideas from the students and community. CSU has already reduced energy and water use, invested in renewable energy, and implemented waste reduction and recycling programs. This panel composed of students and operations managers will discuss the actions CSU is taking to achieve a zero footprint for campus operations and how the University empowers students and staff to act on sustainability.
