SUMMARY:Writing Your Own Story: Diego Tovar's Journey to Authorship
DESCRIPTION:CSU Alumni Association is hosting a virtual live webinar on March 18th with Diego Tovar\, and alum from CSU from the class of 2022\, on his journey to being a self-published author! In the event\, Writing Your Own Story\, Diego will share how he made his dream of being a published author a reality. A little bit about Diego: \n\nDiego graduated from CSU in 2022 with his Bachelor of Science in Ecosystem Science & Sustainability from the Warner College of Natural Resources.\nDiego is passionate about the environment and all of his books have environmental-related themes. He writes sci-fi and cli-fi (climate fiction) novels.\nDiego has worked on environmental policy in Congress\, with the White House\, the EPA\, the Navajo Nation Government\, and now works for an Environmental NGO in Washington\, DC.\nHis published titles include The Ascendants: Empire of Ruin\, The Red Siege\, Tell it to the Tombs\, The Wrath That Waits\, & The Man on the Ring trilogy.\nHis opinion pieces have also been published in The Washington Post and the Austin-American Statesman.\n\nDiego is awesome\, and I can’t wait for alumni\, staff\, and students to meet him. His talk would be very applicable to anyone who shares his interests and passions\, students interested in the legal sector\, those interested in writing and authorship\, and more! There will be a Q&A after Deigo shares his story and advice to aspiring authors. I’m hoping you’d be willing to share this opportunity with your students or teams! \nRegister for Writing Your Own Story: Diego Tovar’s Journey to Authorship HERE!
