In honor of Black History Month: African American Silent Film, Cowboys, and the American West enjoy a showing of the documentary, "Midnight Ramble: Oscar Micheaux and the Story of Black Movies" with Dr. Gillian Bowser, NREL and the Department of Ethnic Studies and Ruth Alexander, Department of History.

This documentary, produced by Pearl Bowser, features the work of Oscar Micheaux, an early African American filmmaker, much of whose work explored blacks in settings in the American West.
